Silk Polish

How to clean polish stain on silk

Remove excess polish with a round-edge device. Wear gloves and place yourself in a ventilated area. First test the following protocol on a non-visible part of your garment or product, to see if it discolours: Place the fabric on a white and clean paper towel. Dab the fabric with another paper towel soaked with turpentine.

If the item discolours, stop the process, rinse thoroughly with clear water and wash according to care instructions, using a “silk / delicate cycle” and reduced spinning (max 600 rpm).

If no discolouration appears, you can proceed with the following process: Place the fabric on a clean, white paper towel. Dab the stain with another paper towel impregnated with turpentine. Rinse thoroughly in clear water and wash according to care instructions, using a “silk / delicate cycle” and reduced spinning (max 600 rpm).
