How to clean lipstick stain on mohair

Place the item on a clean white cloth. Dab the stain with a white cloth soaked in surgical spirit.

Wash according to care instructions, using a “wool cycle” with reduced spinning (max 600 rpm) and a liquid detergent for delicate textiles. If the stain is dry and deeply embedded, apply just one drop of vegetable glycerine to the stain. Rub thoroughly to allow the glycerine to penetrate. Leave for about an hour.
