How to clean mud stain on lurex

Let the mud dry, then brush gently. If the stain persists, dab it with cold water and Marseille soap using a paper towel. Rinse with cold water. Repeat, if necessary, before washing according to the garment's care instructions. If the stain is tough, pour a few drops of white vinegar or lemon juice on a paper towel and apply onto the stain with gentle strokes, then rinse with cold water, before washing.
