How to clean chewing-gum stain on silk
Rub the stain with an ice cube in order to harden the chewing gum or place the garment in a bag and put it in the freezer.
Remove the chewing gum gently with a round-edge device. If any residues still remain, dab them with a cotton ball soaked in a mixture made of 50% water and 50% rubbing alcohol.
Then wash, using a “silk / delicate” cycle, according to care instructions, with reduced spinning (max 600 rpm). If the stain persists, head for a professional cleaner.
